Documents
Typed autobiography Transcription of a typed biography (1973).

Letter to Susan Transcription of a hand written letter (1980). The letter contains a description of the Ellis Island immigration experience which is not in the other documents.

Bintel Brief letter This is a transcription of letter which was sent to the Bintel Brief by Bernard's mother, Tsipa Mishuris. The original letter was written in Yiddish; the transcribed document was translated (done by Bernard) from the published letter back to English. The letter describes how Tsipa is unhappy with Bernard's choice for a fiancee. Included in the text document are a response to the letter from the Bintel Brief, as well as a response to a similar letter from the Morning Journal. Family lore reports that Tsipa dictated to her son Bernard, who wrote the original letter.
